I can say that the best thing I took and kept from those 6 years of my life in France is, La Cuisine.
Although I couldn’t handle cheese and buttery croissant in the morning, creamy chicken and veal dishes in restaurants, disappointed with very mild and bland curries in Indians and non-authentic Japanese restos run by Chinese, I still enjoyed the variety of wine, apéritif, friends inviting culture, beautiful setting of tables, so natural food styling in every household when having nice dinner, lively family parties for Easters and Christmases, the seriousness when choosing menu, the talks on the table for hours, the list goes on.
The French cuisine warms my heart.
And I shared every single culinary moment with my ex.
